SEMURG INSURANCE representative Zhenya Abdullazhanov paid a business visit to the Republic of Turkey as part of a working group that also included representatives from the Ministries of Agriculture, Economy, and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the visit, meetings were held with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey, the Agricultural Insurance Fund TARSIM, and the Agency for the Regulation and Control of Insurance and Individual Pensions (SEDDK).
The main objective of the visit was to study the Turkish agricultural insurance model, currently one of the most advanced in the world, with the aim of adapting it to the Uzbek market.
Mr. Abdullazhanov noted: "A new agricultural insurance system is being introduced in Uzbekistan. The Ministry of Agriculture developed the new system in collaboration with international funds and reinsurance companies, as well as with the active participation of SEMURG INSURANCE, as our experts have expertise in agricultural insurance and a deep understanding of the Uzbek market. A similar system operates in Turkey, and a detailed understanding of the Turkish experience will help us make the system as convenient and reliable as possible for our farmers."
